Role Description
Managed Print Service - Service Analyst

Task Description
The MPS Live Services team is responsible for a number of regular work items, as well as ad hoc duties. The teams regular work items includes the following :-
Performing printer audits of sites
Resolving more technical faults with MPS devices
Undertaking Rebalancing across all sites
Administrate the movement of MPS devices
Reporting of device utilisation

Technologies involved
Printers
Standard Capgemini HMRC Account technologies (dependent upon role)
Web Jetadmin

Mandatory technical skills
Good understanding of printers and print environments

Desirable technical skills
Experience of Web Jetadmin
Knowledge of the EARS application and associated processes
Knowledge of ITIL (Ideally to a minimum of Foundation level)
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
Experience/Knowledge of the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and Service Improvement Process and is able to provide examples.
Experience of working with other resolver groups

Mandatory business skills
Good understanding of what constitutes a "Managed Service"

Desirable business skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to work as part of a team to deliver the service
Problem analysis and resolution
Able to work on own initiative when required
