I am looking for an efficient Transport Planning Administrator to join a well established team within a national company.

Responsibilities:

Service Support Administration
* Log calls for support service onto the system.
* Raise purchase orders for support service engineers.
* Confidently handling internal / customer telephone queries (e.g. Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for units en route to customer).
* Deal with drivers initial queries by resolving, or forward to the Regional Service Managers or branches depending on type of issue. i.e. customer site related/breakdowns.
* Perform administration duties to company standard.
* Ensuring customers are updated at all times of the progress of their Maintenance issue.

Transport Planning Administration
* Sending delivery note paperwork (including Risk and Method Statement (RAMS)) to depots.
* Sending delivery note paperwork (including RAMS) to subcontract hauliers.
* Obtain Proof of Delivery (POD's) from Haulier / Elliott drivers, check signed + dated, and scan to Paperless.
* Contact drivers re progress updates, problems on site, aborts etc.
* Raising of purchasing orders for subcontract hauliers.
* Resolve haulier invoice queries.
* Field calls from depots regarding ETA's.
* Administer and assist with planning and scheduling of vehicles.
* Contact customers in order to confirm site.
* Month end process.
* Liaise with Regional Support Services Engineers Administration to ensure all are available in accordance with the schedule.
* Raise Wide Load permits where applicable.
* Perform administration duties to company standard.
* Ensuring customers are updated at all times of the progress of their delivery.

Requirements:
* Working in an administrative role in a fast paced environment
* Logistics background knowledge

* A good level of skill in Microsoft Office products, IT systems in general
* A good understanding and knowledge of current regulations in regarding to Working Time Directive and Driver's Tachograph restrictions

Working hours are between 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
