Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity working with Children?

Manpower is currently recruiting for Childrens Support Workers to work within a Residential Childrens Home for West Sussex County Council, based in Durrington, Worthing. Shift requirements include mornings, afternoons and waking nights throughout the week and weekend, and also 7am-10am/11am throughout the week - this is an ongoing temporary bank work position.

As a Support Worker your role will involve working with vulnerable Children that have significant levels of personal family and/or behavioural difficulties and/or physical or learning disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of safeguarding and processes, good communication and interpersonal skills, preferably with a minimum of 1 years' experience working with vulnerable children. NVQ Level 2 + or relevant equivalent qualification desired (if no NVQ/relevant qualification is held, Manpower training will be completed before application is progressed.)

Additional positions/hours also available within other homes/units to include work with Adults and Children with personal family and/or behavioural difficulties and/or physical or learning disabilities, in various locations around the County.

£9 per hour Monday - Friday & £13.50 per hour Saturday & Sunday with enhancements for weeknights after 12 weeks work.

Subject to satisfactory DBS and reference checks.
