Facilites Assistants

Facilities Assistants required immediately to work within Birmingham City University in both the city centre and Edgbaston. This role requires a lot of physical and manual labour as well as an element of customer service.

Duties include:
*Movement of chairs and equipment
*Setting up meeting rooms with tables/ chairs
*Disposing of bin rubbish/ waste paper
*Minor repairs eg; door handles, changing light bulbs
*Distributing post and parcels

*For any of the larger requirements you would raise an order out to contractors.
You will need to have a friendly manner and have good customer service skills as you will be in constant contact with staff and students.
