Benefits - Pay

Pension - We offer all eligible employees the option to join the British Airways Retirement Plan (BARP). This is a defined contribution pension scheme in which both you and the company contribute to your pension pot.
Benefits - Life assurance
Life assurance - If you join the company pension scheme, you'll also be eligible for life assurance cover. In the unfortunate circumstance of you dying in service, the company will pay a lump sum to your next of kin or nominated beneficiaries.
Benefits - Income protection
Income Protection - After the qualifying period of 5 years' service in the pension scheme, should you be unable to work long-term due to incapacity, Income Protection Insurance covers up to 50% of your basic salary and pension contributions at the same rate as the time your absence began.

Fly the World - You, and your friends and family will be able to take advantage of discounted flights. After a qualifying period, you'll be eligible to unlimited standby and premium standby fares on the full BA network and with other partner airlines.
Benefits - Cargo concession
Cargo Concession - After six months working at British Airways, you'll be eligible to take advantage of an annual cargo concession of up to 250kg for the transportation of personal property on the British Airways network and will only have to pay 10% of the applicable air cargo tariff.

Childcare vouchers - If you have children aged 15 years or younger, the tax-free childcare scheme is a family-friendly scheme enabling you to benefit from income tax and national insurance savings on childcare costs.
Benefits - Season ticket loans
Season ticket loans - To encourage you to use public transport as much as possible for the journey to work, we offer interest free loans for the purchase of season tickets (which offer considerable cost savings and convenience).
Benefits - Car parking
Car parking - At our Westbase site near Heathrow, you can park for free for up to two weeks when you go away on holiday, and most of our work locations around the UK offer free parking for colleagues while at work.

BA Clubs - Within BA Clubs there is an extensive range of sports and activity sections that you can join, from athletics to yachting, and from angling to yoga. These are free to join for the first year.
