E.ON Administration Assistant - Part Time

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Administration Assistant based in Hinckley, LE10 3EG.

Due to continued growth, E.ON is looking for an Admin assistant to join their admin team, you'll initially work for Manpower on a temporary basis but there's opportunity to become an E.ON permanent employee.

In this role you'll also benefit from annual leave entitlement of 28 days a year pro rata for the first 12 weeks, and 34 days per annum thereafter (including bank holidays).

* Hourly rate £8.28
* Length of assignment: 8 months
* Hours: Part time Monday - Friday

Key activities:

* To carry out administrative tasks in support of the Highways Lighting business activity in order to provide excellent service to our customers.
* Assist in the preparation and management of documentation in accordance with the relevant procedures
* Ensuring effective programming of work to meet customer and company timescales
* Ensuring work meets levels of customer service, taking action where necessary to ensure that they stay within acceptable limits
* Taking ownership of complaints, as appropriate, resulting from the process activities ensuring that they are dealt with correctly and in line with the company policy on complaint handling
* Ensuring that accurate records are maintained
* Taking an active part in personal development to ensure abilities are maximised to the benefit of the Highways Lighting activity
* Having regular contact with members of staff at all levels within Highways Lighting and other internal and external customers
* Build and/or maintain good working relationships with staff within Highways Lighting and across the other business streams, as appropriate

Key Skills;

* Have previous customer service experience
* Have the desire to help, service and meet the needs of customers
* Actively seek to find out information about things, people or issues and will ensure they understand the information and can respond to it
* Have a positive attitude to work
* Be able to tackle problems in a logical way taking into account all relevant information and take responsibility for solving a problem and seeing it through
* Oral communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach with staff, colleagues and customers
* Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and schedule own workload to meet the requirements of his/her own team
* The ability to work under pressure, make decisions and meet tight deadlines
* Numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and produce it in a clear and logical format
* A working knowledge of PC based computer systems and the ability to adapt quickly to changes to those systems.
