A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Credit Risk Analyst in Coventry!
Due to continued growth, E.ON is looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join their established team in Westwood Business Park Coventry. In this role you'll also benefit from annual leave entitlement of 28 days a year pro rata for the first 12 weeks, and 34 days per annum thereafter (including bank holidays). You'll also receive a very competitive salary starting at £27,270 per annum.

Location: Westwood Business Park, Coventry

Pay Rate: £27,270 per annum
Hours: 37 Hours a week, Mon- Fri 8am-4pm (finishing on 3.30pm on Fridays)


Length of Assignment: Initially 4 months and then potentially ongoing dependant on business need.

Job Purpose
To proactively work as part of a team to control the level of bad debt and risk across the Corporates customer base by conducting credit risk assessments on new and renewal Corporate customer agreements and make recommendations for risk mitigation measures.
To be responsible for the regular review of agreements and associated risk, manage end to end processes within Credit Risk function and to monitor compliance to terms.

Key Activities
*Working under the guidance of the Team Manager, providing a professional and quality service to the corporate business.
*Review and deliver within SLA all aspects of E.ON's corporate credit risk assessments for all new and renewal Corporate contracts including:
- Use of specialist credit bureau databases as appropriate, (Equifax.)
*Use of internal systems including IE and Credit Tracker.
- Liaising, developing and maintaining open and effective customer focused relationships with sales, finance, legal and customer service colleagues in order to establish an holistic view of the contract and customer behaviour.
- Record credit risk assessment information for analysis and use in developing the corporate credit risk strategy.
*Represent the Credit Risk team inputting risk analysis information, participation at meetings, presenting credit risk analysis and making risk assessment recommendations.
*Proactively undertake activities to control and track receipt and refund of deposits ensuring compliance to audit requirements are met:

*Provide support for Credit Risk projects, to include system enhancement projects or data review projects. Input will vary by project but may include:
- Representing the credit risk team on project teams.
- Input to project requirements.
- User acceptance testing.
- Development of training materials.
*Provide support for development of any ad hoc or daily reports, as requested by the Credit Risk Team Manager.
*Provide ad hoc support to the Credit Risk Manager as required.

Key skill requirements
Essential
*Experienced in the assessment of financial statements & management accounts in order to give a structured risk analysis of potential corporate customers
*Ability to work to challenging deadlines with attention to detail
*Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to deal effectively and confidently with individuals at all levels of the business and across functional boundaries
*Good Working knowledge of Excel and Word
*Ability to plan and organise workloads
*Customer Focused
*Self motivated
*Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
