Financial Administrator

We have a great job opportunity to join us as a Finance Administrator (Student Loan Eligibility Assessor), at our vibrant offices in Darlington. The start date is expected to be 21st November 2016.

As a Finance Administrator you'll be working as part of the team that determines students' entitlement to financial support. Your role will involve assessing applications, so that an accurate decision on their eligibility can be made. You'll also be involved in related tasks such as managing changes in student circumstances and requesting relevant information and evidence from the student, sponsors and third parties in support of applications for financial support.

Although this is not a contact centre role, you will also carry out telephone calls to clarify information and evidence, investigate issues, provide service and enhance the customer experience.

Previous experience isn't required for this role - what's more important is that you're confident in using Microsoft PC packages, and ideally hold both Maths and English at GCSE level or above (or equivalent).

This role is offered for those interested in full time work (37.5 hours), where you are able to choose your permanent shift pattern from the options below:

07:30 - 15:30
08:30 - 16:30
09:00 - 17:00

You should be aware that the initial 4 week training period will be 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday. Holidays will not be authorised during the first 6 weeks of employment except in exceptional circumstances.
