Jonathan Lester, a temporary worker for Manpower in Chelmsford, has
had his hard work and excellent service rewarded: he has been nominated
Manpower Essex’ “Temp of the Month”.
Manpower, the UK’s leading recruiter of specialist, flexible
and contract workforces, implemented this award scheme to recognise
outstanding performance by a temporary member of staff.
Jonathan initially worked for Manpower in a paid conservation role
but since the end of March he has worked on a temporary assignment
as a receptionist at a public sector organisation in Witham, Essex.
He won the award thanks to his outstanding customer service and
professional attitude explains Joanne Robertson, Senior Consultant
of the branch. “Jonathan epitomises the quality of temporary
staff we have working for Manpower in the Essex area. Although he
has only been with us since March, he has really impressed us with
his enthusiasm and his organisation and communication skills. He
is a real asset to Manpower and we are delighted to have had him
as part of our team,” concludes Joanne.
Jonathan’s line manager on site, Liz Patterson, commented:
“Jonathan has received tremendous feedback from visitors during
his time with us. He is well liked by the team, and has rapidly
become a valued team member.”
Upon being presented with his award and prize Jonathan said:
“I’m delighted to have been awarded Temp of the Month
for Manpower in Essex. Manpower continue to give me interesting
assignments, and I like the flexibility of working for them. The
benefits are that they provide free training, and I have always
found their consultants to be highly professional.”
Jonathan beat candidates from 6 branches throughout Essex to receive
this reward.
