There are now 25 member states
in the EU. The recent accession of 10 new countries has increased
the EU population by 75 million people. So what does this mean
for employers? According to a recent survey, 21% of employers
are experiencing skills shortages in a number of key areas,
but with the increase in people in the EU also comes an increase
in the number of skilled workers available to fill these gaps.
