Class 1 Driver
Location: Newton Heath occasionally Cheadle Hulme
Shift times: Variable as required should the volumes need additional days working.

Days: Starting between 04:00 and 07:00
Nights: Starting between 14:00 and 18:00

Shift length is approx. 9-10 hours and should be no longer than 12 hours
Pay Rates:
Days: Monday to Saturday - £17.34 per hour (OT after 9 hours at £21.68 per hour), Sunday £19.00 per hour
Nights: Monday to Saturday - £18.51 per hour (OT after 9 hours at £23.14 per hour), Sunday - £20.00 per hour

Manpower is currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers to work on behalf of one of our national drinks & logistics distribution clients.

Responsibilities:

• Deliveries to other depots (singles drops- occasional maximum 2 drops)
• No hand balling
• Reporting vehicle defects
• Ensuring vehicles have been loaded correctly

Minimum requirements:

• (C+E) licence / Digi tacho & CPC cards
• 2 years minimum C+E driving experience
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences (DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LD, TT99 codes not acceptable)
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Customer service skills required
