HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver - Ongoing Work

£16.00 per hour | Weekly Pay

Manpower Scotland is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers for ongoing work based in Aberdeen. This is a good opportunity for drivers looking for steady work with the possibility of longer-term opportunities.

About the role

You'll be working with refrigerated trailers, transporting chilled and frozen goods for distribution. The role may also involve some yard duties such as shunting.
Shift patterns can vary and may include days, nights, weekends, and the potential for a 4 on / 4 off rota.

What you'll be doing

• Driving Class 1 vehicles on local and national routes
• Shunting trailers when required
• Carrying chilled and frozen loads
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Filling out delivery paperwork
• Following all driver hours and tachograph rules
• Making sure loads are safe and secure

What we're looking for

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 3 points on licence
• Reliable and safety-focused approach
• Good communication and timekeeping

Previous fridge work is helpful but not essential.
