Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 23:00 - 07:00
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a General Operator to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing business in Swindon.

Working within a regulated production environment, you will play a key role in supporting the packaging and manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with GMP and pharmaceutical industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out manual packing of pharmaceutical products.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for gowning and cleaning within cleanroom environments.
- Support material handling activities and transfer materials into production and packing areas.
- Maintain stock levels of consumables and ensure materials are within expiry dates.
- Perform cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment and production areas.
- Complete packaging, labelling, line clearance, and in-process weight checks.
- Identify and report any non-conformances to Team Leaders, Managers, or Quality Assurance teams.
- Accurately complete all production documentation in line with Data Integrity principles and company procedures.
- Adhere to all health, safety, quality, and GMP requirements.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain focus and concentration for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow written procedures.
- Reliable and self-motivated approach to work.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing, food production, or another regulated environment.
- Understanding of GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity principles.
- Experience working within production, manufacturing, packaging, or cleanroom environments.
