Manpower are currently seeking an interim Finance Reporting Analyst, to work with our global FMCG client and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role to run until the end of December 2026, requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £45,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience.

We are recruiting for a Finance Reporting Analyst to support key manufacturing finance teams in Europe. This role combines ownership of business-as-usual financial reporting with a significant systems transformation project, making it ideal for someone with strong technical reporting capability and hands-on data experience.

Alongside BAU reporting, the role will be involved in developing and enhancing financial reporting processes and systems.

This is a highly practical, hands-on role requiring someone who is confident working through complex datasets, building reports from scratch, and testing new systems in a fast-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Data Analysis (BAU)

  • Take ownership of site financial reporting activities currently managed within the finance business partnering team
  • Build, maintain, and improve recurring financial reports to support manufacturing performance tracking
  • Analyse large volumes of financial data to identify trends, variances, and reporting issues
  • Produce clear reporting outputs for finance leadership and operational stakeholders
  • Support month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes

Finance Systems Transformation Project

  • Support a major finance transformation programme involving the separation of systems, processes, and reporting frameworks
  • Work closely with teams setting up new standalone systems and reporting structures
  • Build new reports for evolving systems, ensuring financial outputs are accurate and aligned to business requirements
  • Test system outputs, troubleshoot reporting issues, and support trial-and-error validation during implementation
  • Act as a key finance contact for reporting design and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with finance business partners, site leadership, and project teams
  • Attend regular meetings with finance stakeholders to review reporting outputs and identify issues
  • Translate technical data findings into clear business context
  • Provide enough finance understanding to challenge outputs, while remaining primarily a technical reporting specialist rather than a dedicated business partner

Experience:

  • Strong experience as a Data Analyst, Financial Data Analyst, or similar highly technical reporting role
  • Advanced skills in: Power BI (essential) Excel (essential - including complex modelling, large datasets, and reporting automation), Experience building reports directly from multiple source systems
  • Strong hands-on experience working with financial or operational datasets
  • Comfortable in a transformation/project environment where systems are being implemented or separated
  • Confident working through ambiguity, testing outputs, and resolving reporting issues independently
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage finance stakeholders and explain technical findings clearly
  • Previous experience in finance is preferred, but candidates from supply chain, pricing, category, or other data-heavy operational functions will also be considered where technical capability is strong
  • Practical technical capability and proven delivery in data/reporting environments are more important than formal finance qualifications
