This is a highly visible Regulatory Affairs role where you'll take ownership of compliance strategy, work closely with senior leadership, and play a key role in protecting both product safety and brand reputation.

What You'll Do:
- Lead regulatory compliance across EMEA for packaging materials and food contact applications
- Translate complex legislation (e.g. REACH, FCM, PPWR) into clear, actionable guidance for the business
- Act as the primary regulatory contact for key customers, supporting technical discussions and compliance queries
- Prepare and review Declarations of Compliance (DoCs) and technical documentation
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential business risks and impacts
- Support supplier approval processes, ensuring materials meet regulatory requirements
- Participate in supplier audits and collaborate on risk mitigation strategies
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and R&D to support product and customer requirements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the regulatory function
- Contribute to industry engagement through trade associations and working groups
What We're Looking For:
- Strong background in Regulatory Affairs within packaging, materials, chemicals or a related industry
- In-depth knowledge of EU Food Contact legislation and chemical compliance frameworks (REACH / CLP)
- Experience working with customers on regulatory or compliance-related topics
- Ability to translate technical regulations into practical business decisions
- Exposure to supplier management, audits, or materials approval processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging at multiple levels
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to compliance
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes
Qualifications:
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Food Science or similar
- Additional regulatory or auditing certifications beneficial but not essential
