Production Operative - Dayshift and Backshift

Manpower is recruiting Dayshift and Backshift Production Operatives to work for our client, based in Edinburgh. You will work within the factory on the production line packing the products.
The shifts are planned on a weekly basis and run from 06:30 - 14:30 & 14:30 - 22:30

We can offer a minimum of 2 shifts a week and up to 5 based on clients weekly plans.

£11.45 per Hour - Weekly Pay
Overtime paid at 1.5X Basic Rate - For all hours over 8 each shift
Full training on site
PPE Provided and induction plan for every candidate

As a Production Operative, your main responsibilities will include:

* Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items
* Keeping machines supplied with packaging materials and labels
* May be some heavy lifting involved on the line

The ideal candidate will have:

* Good observational skills to spot defective products
* Patience to carry out repetitive tasks
* The ability to work quickly to meet production targets
* Good team working skills and the ability to work on your own
* The ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures
