Barista

Manpower is recruiting a Barista to work for our public sector client. You will provide an exceptional service and high quality beverages to patients, staff and visitors.

Location: Llantrisant

Job type: Temporary, duration ongoing

Working hours: Part time. You will be required to shifts between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday across two sites.

Hourly rate
£11.44 Weekdays
£16.13 Saturdays and nights
£22.94 Sundays and Bank Holidays

The Role
Working as part of a team you will deliver a catering service to patients, staff, students, and visitors ensuring standards and processes are maintained and adhered to in accordance with Food Hygiene Legislation.

Main duties

• repare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers.
• Operate the till and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning tables and equipment.
• Replenish stock and ensure all supplies are readily available.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers in a friendly manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a catering environment or coffee shop is essential
• Ability to work to in a fast paced environment
• Flexibility to work shifts as per the rota
• Excellent customer service skills
• Driving licence and own vehicle to be able to travel between sites
• Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 2 (Manpower can support with this)
• Standard DBS check (Manpower pays for the cost of this)
