Warehouse / Workshop Supervisor
Location: Stone Business Park, Emerald Way, Stone, ST15 0SR
Pay Rate: £16.41 - £18.46 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm
Assignment Type: Ongoing, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role after 12 weeks

About the Role

Our client, a well-known ice cream company, is hiring a Warehouse / Workshop Supervisor to join their busy operations team in Stone. This is a vital leadership role within a dynamic workshop environment, where you'll oversee the refurbishment and movement of refrigeration cabinets, ensuring smooth daily operations from goods receipt to dispatch. You'll supervise a small team of operators, driving productivity and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

What you'll be doing:
* Overseeing the tracking and movement of refrigeration cabinets
* Managing goods-in, delivery receipt, and dispatch processes
* Supervising and supporting a team of 4 workshop operators
* Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
* Maintaining accurate stock records using Excel and warehouse systems
* Monitoring workflow to meet deadlines and targets
* Promoting a positive, organised working environment

What you'll bring:
* Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach) - in-date and from a reputable provider
* Experience in a warehouse or workshop supervisory role
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* Confidence using Microsoft Excel and warehouse inventory systems
* Ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks effectively
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
