Inventory & Document Control Support (Maternity Cover)

About the role

We're looking for someone to step in and support across inventory, document control, and vendor ops.

It's a hands-on role where you'll be working with different teams to keep things running smoothly, troubleshoot issues, and help keep systems accurate.


What you'll be doing

Inventory support

  • Keeping an eye on inventory and running reports, especially looking for aged WIP
  • Working with TRC delivery leads and inventory controllers to prioritise and investigate issues
  • Looking into anything blocking inventory movements and helping get things moving again
  • Supporting monthly recycle forecasts for Finance
  • Monitoring batch jobs and fixing discrepancies (like sync errors)
  • Highlighting system issues and working with IT to sort them

Document control

  • Manage documents on SharePoint, including some technical writing/admin
  • Preparing for audits (internal and customer) and supporting during them
  • Making sure documents are accurate, organised, and up to date

Vendor operations (backup support)

  • Stepping in to help with vendor queries when needed
  • Supporting buyouts and general vendor processes
  • Helping coordinate recycling consignments
  • Making sure records are kept properly

What we're looking for

  • Someone who can commit to being on-site in Erskine, 5 days a week
  • Organised and detail-focused
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and systems
  • A good problem-solver who can dig into issues and follow them through
  • Able to work with different teams (ops, finance, IT, vendors, etc.)
  • Experience in inventory, document control, or similar is a bonus, but not essential.
