Role: Vehicle Technician - Mechanic- permanent

Basic Salary: £30,802 plus up to 10% bonus, pension and benefits (BT broadband and TV including sport)

Perm only Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 17:00. Needs Light experience

As a qualified Mechanic, you will be servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of makes and models of commercial fleet vehicles - cars / vans / trailers, to achievable targets within a warm and modern environment. The technician shall undertake all classes of skilled work including inspection, maintenance, repair and services. You will need Light experience rather than HGV.

Key accountabilities

  • Body repair, refinishing and painting
  • Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
  • Welding and metal work
  • Carry out inspections and repair of workshop equipment as directed
  • Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment

You will receive brand-specific training to ensure that you are up to speed with the latest industry developments and you will have the chance to earn 10% performance-based bonus. Must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.

You will receive a tablet to manage your work and you are also allowed to take this home for personal use. Working alternate weeks 0800 - 1615 wk 1 and 0845 - 1700 wk 2.
