Brief Overview

  • My client are a leading commercial cleaning service that provide to schools, hospitals, gyms, offices, golf & health clubs and healthcare industries.
  • My client have been providing a professional, fully-managed cleaning service, since 1999. The company was founded by two gentlemen who between them, had a wealth of previous experience in the commercial cleaning industry.
  • When they started the company, their aim was to raise the standard within the commercial cleaning industry. They continue to do this today by staying one step ahead of the rest, continually taking the business forward.

The Role

  • Spend 2-3 days per week telemarketing and prospecting for new business from the Wokingham Head Office (especially when training)
  • Utilise various research methods to target businesses and their key contacts, including online tools such as LinkedIn
  • Book a minimum of 6 qualified appointments per week in the allocated area
  • Travel to the prospective customer sites to attend appointments, survey buildings and provide quotes for daily cleaning services
  • Responsible for price negotiations and objection handling
  • Create and maintain new business relationships and manage the sale through to close. A typical sales cycle is 4 - 6 weeks
  • Please note that this role is responsible for generating new business; it is not just Account Management.

The Candidate

  • Good communication skills
  • Strong desire to succeed
  • A minimum of 12 months sales or telemarketing experience
  • Self-motivation
  • Drive and tenacity
  • Excellent prospecting skills
  • Valid UK driver's license
  • Experience in the services sector would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.

The Rewards

  • A basic salary dependant on experience per annum, with uncapped commissions, providing an achievable OTE of £50k (Can earn £55'000)
  • You will be provided with mileage allowance, mobile phone, laptop or iPad, up to 25 days annual leave (depending on length of service) and a NEST pension scheme.
  • Choice of Company car following 6 months successful probation.
