An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading Pharmaceutical organisation; We are currently looking for an Associate Quality Analyst based in Holmes Chapel. This is a full time temporary role to start immediately until March 2017, working a shift pattern - 6:00am- 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00pm. This role is paying £10.27 per hour.

This is a shift Role and you must be flexible and available to work 6:00- 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00.

Associate Quality Analysts conduct testing of analytical samples for a specific laboratory area. The Associate Quality Analyst is charged with performing their work in a safe and effective manner in compliance with cGMP and Regulatory requirements. The function of this position is to perform chemical testing following approved methodology, to assure that the potency, purity, safety and stability of our products, components and in-process stages are in compliance with approved specifications. Additionally, the holder of this position reviews test results, highlights problems related to technical and equipment issues and works closely with the Senior Quality Analyst/Analytical Quality Leader to resolve any issues. All staff may be required to perform additional duties as agreed with their Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Principal Accountabilities
* Conducts chemical and physical testing of raw materials, in-process, finished products, components and stability products using established test methods to produce accurate and reliable data in order to assure strength, identity and purity.
* Assists in the trouble-shooting on instrumentation used in routine testing.
* Corrects erroneous data.
* Supports resolution to manufacturing deviations.
* Assists in investigations through analytical techniques to problems dealing with manufacture, product quality, customer complaints or analyst error.
* Difficulties encountered during routine testing and data review are escalated to laboratory supervision for discussion.
The Associate Quality Analyst analyses and evaluates data generated through testing. All data must be generated in accordance with cGMP. Any obvious errors, atypical or out of specification results are immediately highlighted to the laboratory supervisor. All steps of any investigation are performed following current SOPs and approved by supervisor prior to release.

Skills & Knowledge:
Science Graduate or educated to GCSE with four years relevant laboratory experience (or equivalent)
