Manpower is partnering with a leading chemicals manufacturer in their search for a Key Account Manager. Tasked with growing the company's market-share in the Transportation sector, the Key Account Manager will play a leading role in developing both new and existing business.

With a truly global presence and a reputation for providing high-quality products, the organisation has established itself as a leading supplier to the Transportation manufacturing industry. Their innovative chemicals solutions are used on a diverse range of vehicles from agricultural to public service and everything in between.

As Key Account Manager, you will be field-based and will focus on developing new business within the Transportation manufacturing industry throughout the UK. Your core challenges will include;
*Identifying new clients within the Transportation manufacturing sector (such as agricultural, public service, military, rail, caravans, marine)
*Using a solution sales approach to developing new business within core markets
*Promoting the business' new technologies within the market, to new and existing customers
*Providing expert advice to technical and marketing teams regarding new ways to drive market penetration
*Staying up to date with industry trends and seeking out new and innovative ways to gain a competitive edge

It is imperative that the Key Account Manager can demonstrate a hunger to develop and grow their career. This should complement their skills and experience which should already include;
*Experience of selling in to or working for Transportation manufacturers (such as agricultural, public service, military, rail, caravans, marine)
*Proven track record of delivering new business within the Transportation market
*Solution sales approach that has been developed by working with technical products
*Understanding of chemical process manufacturing
*Able to develop relationships quickly and influence stakeholders at all levels within business
*Highly organised and able to work autonomously
*Commercially aware with an innovative approach to business development
*Experience of negotiating within a B2B sales environment
*A full UK driving license
