The Team Manager effectively manages a team of people to deliver the department and Company objectives and, as part of a collective of Team Managers, ensures the overall operations team deliver a high level of Customer Service to all potential and existing customers and all other stakeholders.

The Team Manager supports and assists the Operations Manager in the management and development of the Operations team and works closely with all departments to ensure relevant information is communicated effectively and accurately both internally and externally.

Working as part of the operations team to you will also act as a first point of contact for all lines of communication, dealing with each one professionally and courteously.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the work in your team is effectively planned and fairly allocated to individuals, monitoring the progress and quality of the work of individuals to ensure that the required standard of performance is being met, reviewing and updating plans of work in the light of emerging issues and ensuring appropriate escalation of issues.

You will also provide learning opportunities for the team by identifying learning needs, helping to provide opportunities to address these needs and encouraging team members to take responsibility for their own learning. Managing employees in accordance with HR policies and procedures at all times, seeking advice as appropriate. you will also be required to provide monthly MI on team KPI's along with suggested resolutions for continuous improvement and ongoing coaching.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have previous experience as a Team Manager within a customer focused department. Proven performance management and leadership along with driving performance.
