Sales Executive - New Business Development

Manpower are working with one of the UK's leading experts in the supply and manufacture of printed education materials. Supplying 25% of both secondary schools with a range of printed equipment, our client has now developed software that allows staff and pupils to complete, submit, review and grade homework, compatible with all devices this app has been trialled successfully and is now looking to become one of the main names in the homework application industry.

This is a new and exciting role for the business for a confident and experienced Sales professional to join with an ultimate view to progress into an Account Manager further into your career, the successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Sales.

* Pay - £28k - £32k per annum
* Benefits - Annual Bonus and Generous Holidays Package
* Hours - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

As a Sales Executive you will be responsible for securing new business through marketing and promoting products over the telephone, face-to-face, online/email and at events. You will be required to quickly establish a sales pipeline and customer base, identifying the key decision makers within prospect schools by telephone and generating sales leads.

It will then be key to understand the needs of that contact and turn the sales lead into a profitable order, success will measured by the number of profitable clients you secure.

In addition to the above you will need to report back to the Head of Sales on activity and success as well as identify any trends in the market or new competitor products.

The ideal candidate will have and be able to demonstrate:-

* A minimum of 3 years in Business Development / Sales and a successful portfolio of sales conversions
* Creative, resilient and persistent in their approach
* Strong communicator with the ability to form and maintain relationships
* Ideally hold a full UK driving licence - NOT ESSENTIAL
* Experience within the education sector would be advantageous
