Manpower is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Team Leader at one of our most prestigious clients - a leading speciality chemicals manufacturer based in Immingham. The Maintenance Team Leader will play a key role in delivering a world-class maintenance service to the plant.

As Maintenance Team Leader, some of your core tasks and challenges will include;
*Overseeing a team of Maintenance Technicians and external contractors (10+)
*Providing day-to-day leadership and advice to the team in all areas of Mechanical Maintenance across the manufacturing plant
*Championing a culture of health and safety
*Creating Preventative Maintenance plans and distributing work efficiently to the maintenance teams
*Ensuring that the Maintenance Teams are carrying out their work safely and to the required standards
*Maintaining accurate reporting and tracking of KPI's
*Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by identifying improvement projects for plant equipment

The role of Maintenance Team Leader will suit an individual that can build on their existing skills and experience, which should already include;
*A full Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship underpinned by formal qualifications (such as a HNC or B.Eng)
*Proven track record within Maintenance Manager (ideally with supervisory experience)
*Chartered status or the aspiration to achieve it
*Experience of working within an industrial/heavy industry (such as chemicals, petrochemical, oil & gas or steel)
*Previous experience of delivering preventative maintenance work on a manufacturing plant
*Working knowledge of pumps, vessels and pipework
*High level of health and safety awareness
*Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
*Appreciation of the importance of reporting KPIs and other plant information

This role is a full time, Monday - Friday days position. In addition to the highly competitive salary, the role is accompanied by a bonus and a range of additional benefits. If required, relocation assistance will be provided.
