Great opportunity for an experienced telesales agent to join our well established client based in Reading!!! Do you have background in target based sales? Desirable skills include, previous telesales experience, previous experience of working within a compliance or regulated environment, previous insurance/financial services experience.

The basic salary is £18,000 - £23k + commission (OTE up to £50k) you will also be rewarded with great benefits including 24 days holidays which increases 1 day every 2 years with the max of 30 days after 10 years employment. Hours, you will be required to work on a rotational basis of Monday to Thursday with 3 shift patterns 09.30 - 18.00, 10.00 - 18.30 and 1 shift a week of 11.30 - 20.00 (i.e. you will work 2 days 9.30 till 18.00, 1 day late 11.30 till 20.00 and 1 day till 18.30) You will also be required to work 1 Saturday in 4 09.00 - 16.00.

The role is responsible for both outbound and inbound telesales campaigns and requires a proven, driven and customer-centric sales professional. The role will be required to exceed personal targets and work collectively with their colleagues to exceed company targets whilst ensuring Compliance standards and targets are met. Strong customer service delivery skills, an excellent telephone manner and an ability to think on your feet are essential components of this role. You will need an outgoing personality that is both persuasive, the resilience to work in a targeted, telesales environment, a confidence in your own abilities and be a real team player.

Key Responsibilities:

To achieve and exceed individual and departmental sales targets. Maximize all sales opportunities pro-actively with efficient follow-up. Qualify all queries and ensure appropriate products are recommended
Seek to quote all leads and close sales. Manage pipeline effectively, within agreed timeframes, optimising leads. Work with Managers to develop targeted approach and sales pitch. Manage work load to achieve all activity and productivity goals (KPI's) Ensure all sales are made in line with compliance regulations.

Required Skills and Work Experience, Essential: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, manage and grow sales pipeline, ability to engage customers quickly and close the sale, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
