Manpower has registered a new vacancy based at a growing manufacturing company in Milton Park. This company have recently moved into new premises due to significant growth and they are now looking for a capable Customer Helpdesk Advisor to join their expanding team. This position is initially temporary but can offer significant future benefits within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
*Provide professional 1st line telephonic support to customers dealing with technical issues that can be resolved over the phone. Logging calls and managing through to completion.
*Respond to errors being reported through the error logging system.
*Scheduling engineer visits for errors that cannot be resolved over the phone.
*Analysis of reports to ensure products remain in good working order.
*Dispute investigations and reports.

Key Skills:
*Previous customer support experience is essential, however IT support is not.
*Good IT skills and ability to learn new programmes (technically minded).
*Professional telephone manner with confident communication skills.
*Good analytical skills and enjoys problem solving.
*Motivated and driven with good planning/organisation skills.

Working hours - the helpdesk operates from 8.00am to 5.30pm and you will work either an early or late shift within these times based on a 7.5 hour day (e.g. 8.00am to 3.30pm or 10am to 5.30pm). Requirement to work weekends on a rota basis once training is completed, you will receive time off in lieu.
