Manpower have fantastic opportunities for positive, passionate people to join a team of Customer Service Representatives within a leading international courier delivery services company based in Gateshead, Team Valley.
*Customer Service Representative
*Gateshead - Team Valley
*Full time - Monday to Friday including some Saturdays
*40 hours from 7am to 7pm
*£19,000
As a Customer Service Representative you will be the face and voice of the company. A confident communicator and attentive listener you will be taking inbound calls varying from arranging the delivery and collection of freight, giving quotations and taking ownership and accountability for resolving customer queries and issues.
Working in a busy and pressurised Contact Centre your passion for customer service and resilience to thrive in a target orientated environment will see you succeed in this role
Key Activities:
*Answer the telephone in accordance to company policy
*Proactive approach to customer's requirements based on historic transactions, if applicable
*Proactively provide customers with accurate product and pricing information based on their needs.
*Proactively ensure that customers are aware of necessary paperwork and any special instructions
*Communicate accurately and complete shipments statuses from the track and trace system
*Provide first line support on how to use the self-service tools
*Provide solutions and alternatives based on the customer needs
*Where first call resolution cannot be achieved, be able to communicate the appropriate call back time to the customer, and ensures this is in line with the agreed time frame of the support team or other departments
*To identify and act on selling opportunities to retain revenue, whilst providing suitable solutions to customer's requirements
Key Functional Skills:
*Intermediate knowledge of MS packages
*Effective Communications skills both verbal and written
*High attention to detail
*Ability to work effectively in a team within a pressured environment
