Manpower are currently recruiting for a Remote Server Support Specialist to join their Client - an on-site delivery specialist for multi-vendor products and services. The candidate will join a team listed to support engineers & client accounts worldwide in the multivendor hardware break fix arena.

The successful candidate will be a DELL / I.B.M. / SUN Servers server specialist but we are also looking for general multi-vendor break fix experience (LENOVO, and ORACLE)
Candidates will ideally be office based (Bracknell) with the option to work from home on a night or weekend shift if adequate broadband connections are in place.

A proven track record in technically supporting server engineers via telephone support / helpdesk or indeed customer technical support would be required. Candidates should have up to a minimum 2 years' experience working in a 1st or 2nd line support environment.

The role may be suitable for a field engineer wanting to get more involved in a remote set-up operating a 12hr shift from 07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 - 07:00 on a rotating shift pattern, processing calls via a computerised call system or directly from engineers or customers globally. Employees working between 22:00 & 06:00 may claim an additional £3 per hour.

The ability to demonstrate resolution of customer escalations and issues, along with any hardware engineer training delivery experience will be an advantage. Call logging and diagnosis experience is essential.
