AAT Qualified Accounts Assistant needed on a part time basis.
An opportunity has arisen in the Finance department of an International recruitment company, If you want to be an integral member of the team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This is a Part Time role working 30 Hours per week
Pro Rata Salary
Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm
Your duties will include.
*Preparing month end journals, and adjustments, including accruals and prepayments
*Collaborate with outsourced Accounts Payable function to ensure correct charge is posted to P&L
*Assisting in Gross Profit weekly review
*Supporting Business Partner with month end reporting and other tasks as required.
*Act as a first point of contact for branch queries;
*Balance Sheet reconciliations
*Ensuring effective and efficient operation of Treasury activities (e.g. processing and approval of all urgent or non-standard payments, cash book reconciliations, banking cheques, resolving cash allocation queries)
*Other internal and external reports preparation/submission
*Assisting in Annual budgets preparation
*Supporting internal and external audits
*Organising and filing documents
*Support the activities of other teams
Training and Development
*Personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
Skills Required
*Finalist/Qualified AAT or equivalent Mandatory
*IT literate, excellent excel skills
*Relevant working knowledge in financial environment
*Ability to achieve tight deadlines with high degree of quality and understanding
*Communicate effectively at all levels.
*Highly numerate and analytical mind-set with attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks
