Plant Operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Plant Operator to join our well established client based in Maidstone.

Primarily to operate, inspect and maintain a plant in order to produce materials which comply with the company quality specifications. To plan the next day's production according to customer requirements and plant capabilities. Inspection and monitoring of plant in accordance with the site regime. Maintenance and repair of the plant within your scope and competence and keep accurate records in accordance with management requirements. Re-fuelling of machines - both static and mobile. Operation and control of weighbridge tasks and processes Operation of mobile plant - FEL for loading and plant feed and dumper for mineral movement - as required by site management. To be able to operate machines in a safe and correct manner. To undertake maintenance works to static and mobile plant as required by manufacturer and the company.

Required skills:
*Previous experience in the operation of mobile plant
*Team player who can also work well using their own initiative
*Able to work under pressure in a very busy working environment
*Hard working and reliable
*Flexible approach and be adaptable to respond to changing circumstances of their day to day business
*Computer literate

Hours: Mon-Sat 50 hours per week
Salary: £23,764.00 plus bonuses and paid overtime
