At Manpower as our winter recruitment campaign continues to take shape we have created an additional position for a Recruitment Assistant based in our office in St Albans. Manpower prides itself on the engagement and deployment of high quality drivers to various aspects of the logistics industry and as we anticipate high volumes of demand for our drivers to serving our national clients. We require your support with the attraction, pre-screening and vetting of our applicants.

Based in the office, you will play a very important part in our strategy and will be responsible for the sourcing, screening and arranging interviews for applicants and drivers on behalf of local branches. This will involve writing job adverts (with assistance), performing internet searches for potential candidates and managing inbound applicants.

To be a successful applicant will need to be well organised, target focused and have good interpersonal skills. You will be using the telephone and some of the latest computer software to identify and approach applicants, and then after conducting a successful pre-screen interview arranging a convenient time for them to be registered.

An understanding of different driving licence types or a background in logistics or recruitment could be beneficial in the execution of this role. The hours of work will be between 08:30 to 17:30 and this exciting opportunity is offered on a temporary basis and is available with an immediate start.
