We are recruiting for a Training Consultant to work for a well established client in the retail software industry (EPOS/stock control). Our client provides specialist software to retail clients across the UK. Due to an internal promotion, they are now in the market for a Training Consultant, to deliver general IT support, and software training to their customers. There will be UK travel involved in this role, and you should expect to be travelling up to 3 days a week. There will be very occasional overnight stays, and all expenses will be paid. A car allowance will be payable, on top of your basic salary.

Duties to include:
◦Providing training to all new and existing customers
◦Visiting customers' premises to install software and associated hardware
◦Liaising with new customers to organise installs
◦Training customers and their staff on their new system
◦Providing ongoing support and training for customers
◦Conducting head office training sessions for customers
◦Preparing for installs by ensuring all software/hardware is ready
◦Testing software prior to installation
◦Installing software and associated hardware
◦Providing helpdesk support to customers when no installations taking place
◦Dealing with technical questions and issues for customers

Candidate requirements:
◦Previous experience of delivering training
◦Good IT systems knowledge
*Epos software experience
◦Excellent customer service skills
◦Strong technical background
*Customer facing experience
*Car owner/driver
