Manpower are proud to be working with our client, a global leader in Chemical Manufacturing, in their search for a Maintenance Planner on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) until the end of 2018.

Playing an integral part in their Asset Reliability Improvement project, you will be responsible for the analysis, preparation & execution of Maintenance Improvement Plans in your respective department (as the site is extremely large, you will be assigned an area of the site, rather than the entire site itself).

Core responsibilities will include (amongst other responsibilities) :
*Coordinating all of the Project Resources
*Designating relevant responsibilities to site Engineers and Technicians
*Allocating work plans, labour requirements, forecasting cost of materials, and expressing need for central or contract services to Senior Management.
*Consulting relevant colleagues on progressive maintenance plans
*Reviewing the weeks / months maintenance activity, and proactively organising the next weeks / months maintenance activities to ensure the Project is being ran as expected
*Ensuring all Planned Maintenance activities comply with Health and Safety regulations
*Updating SAP maintenance system when necessary

Candidate Requirements

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that the chosen applicant for this position be able to quickly integrate themselves in the team and deliver on their responsibilities immediately.

Because of this, our client requires the chosen applicant to have certain experiences and knowledge. This includes:

*SAP - It is essential that anyone applying have extensive working knowledge of Manufacturing Maintenance systems. SAP (specifically knowledge of the PM module) is highly desired. However, our client would also consider applicants with other knowledge of Maintenance systems (such as CMMS) would also be considered, provided that you can adapt to a new Maintenance system quickly.
*COMAH Experience - Due to the Health and Safety regulations our client have to adhere to, it is preferred that applicants have working experience or an appreciation of COMAH guidelines. However, our client would also consider applicants from other Industrial manufacturing backgrounds (providing they have
several year's experience of Maintenance Planning
*Mechanical background - Due to the nature of the machinery at the site, it is highly advantageous that any applicants for this position are Mechanical biased.
