Production Operative

We are recruiting for a busy Automotive factory working as a production operative in the Aston Area

The role of the Production Operative is to ensure that quality standards are met throughout:

The Production Operative role will involve:

Manoeuvre alloy wheels, ensuring they are fixed to tyres accordingly
Perform quality checks on the wheels
Work with and load production machinery
Adhere to health and safety at all times
Follow lean manufacturing protocols
The Automotive Production Operative role is a busy position and requires a good eye for detail and quality. Whilst previous experience within the automotive industry is an advantage, it is not essential.

You will be required to lift and move wheels, which can be physically demanding.

The right person for the role of Automotive Production Operative must:

Be able to work as part of a team
Be able to keep up with production schedules
Be quality focused
Be able to work on a 3 shift rota
Have good timekeeping and attendance

Details for production operative role;

3 shift rotating every 2 weeks 5.45am - 2pm / 1.45pm - 10pm / 21.45pm - 06.00am

The pay rate starts at £8.00 per hour after 12 weeks the pay rate will rise to £9.46 per hour!
