Responsibilities
*Operational Control of a number of local & global suppliers, including in-house supply.
*Operational Control of a number of global customers.
*Communication with third party logistics to ensure of shipping performance KPI.
*Support improvement activities within the internal and external supply base.
*Manage supply chain systems and ordering volumes.
*Manage daily supply issues & inventory control.
*Support project management & TdC improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications required
*Preferably experience / knowledge of a Production / Parts Control environment.
*Knowledge of production, packaging and warehouse processes.
*MRP knowledge preferable.
*Must be fully computer literate as all systems are PC & mainframe based.
*Good organisation, planning and negotiations skills.
*Educated to minimum GCSE Maths and English but further educational qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
Additional Information
Salary - £19,000 basic + £3,000 secondment on top
Hours of work - Mon- Thursday - 7:55am - 4:40pm
Friday - 7:55am - 2:25pm
