Class 2 ADR Driver (cyclinders) Reading / Oxford/ Newbury

Manpower is currently recruiting for Class 2 ADR Drivers to join Calor Gas in Mortimer, Newbury and Oxford.

You will be delivering gas cylinder bottles to commercial and domestic customers such as food stands/van or home deliveries.

You will be using a delivery trolley to move the gas cylinders which are provided and you be operating a tail lift to remove the goods from the vehicle.

When you have delivered the gas cylinder, you will be connecting or disconnecting (when completing collections) the gas cylinders - they will range in size from 3kg to 94kg when full, the driver will be climbing in and out of the vehicle as loading and unloading will be required at the start and end of the shift so this role can be physically demanding.

You will be completing some cash handling and payment taking whilst delivering on site to customers so having previous experience is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-drop deliveries and must hold a current Class 2 license, Digital Tachograph Card, CPC and ADR Certificate in gases (2) packages.

The successful candidate will receive full training on the vehicle and equipment and then, once trained, start with the full deliveries to both commercial and domestic customers.

We offer overtime pay which is paid at 'time and a half', 28 days holiday and full PPE.
