In order for Manpower to maintain its position as the world's workforce expert, it is key that the company is supported with a strong commercial centre of excellence (CORE) team spanning two locations - Newcastle and Uxbridge. The ability to work across both geographic locations is required.

We are recruiting a MI Business Analyst to be accountable for the development and ongoing production of regular Management Information and performance measures by acquiring data from a variety of systems using data analysis tools and other agreed sources

Due to the nature of the changing issues facing the organisation there will be a need for a flexible approach to changing priorities and the balancing of a challenging workload.

The successful applicant will manage and develop the MI Administrator in order to ensure that continuity is maintained across all CORE MI and reporting outputs. Close working relationship is required across the Centre of Recruitment Excellence (North & South Locations), in addition to the Operations Teams (Account Managers, Sales Development Teams) Finance teams and IT teams. There will also be interaction with the other back office and front office teams as and when required.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

*Ensure the availability and accuracy of data from data analysis tools for internal purposes and external to enable timely and accurate MI, providing support where required to ensure agreed Manpower SLAs and KPIs are met. "Data analysis tools" currently refers to the extensive use of the Qlikview suite of products, Cognos, PeopleSoft Financials, Manpower's propriety ATS and MS Excel.

*Ensure compliance with established data analysis tools development methodology, and that appropriate testing has been conducted and documented and that generated results reconcile appropriately to the originating data.

*Actively participate in project activities across the CORE teams, with a focus on the application of data analysis tools. This includes existing projects such as the development of the weekly dashboard.

*Work closely with colleagues to generate new and innovative ideas for improving the way that the systems and business processes employed by CORE support Manpower's objectives, increasing accuracy and efficiency.

Required skills should include though are not limited to:

*Excellent IT skills, especially data analysis tools.

*Excellent written and oral communication skills.

*An expert level of knowledge regarding the key systems used across the Manpower CORE/Finance and IT teams will be required, especially Qlikview, Cognos, PeopleSoft Financials and MS Excel (ideally with VBA development experience).

*Proactive, analytical approach to problem solving and the ability to see a project through from inception to completion.

*An understanding of project management principles and their application to back office projects.
