IT HARDWARE ENGINEER

An established global Technology company is seeking an experienced hardware break fix engineer to join their small and busy team of IT engineers working at offices and Data Centres at Havant supporting a range of Printers, Servers and Blades.

DUTIES:
* Working within a team the successful candidate will be expected to work using their own initiative to resolve a range of hardware break fix issues on laptops, printers and servers.
* The working hours of the contract are Monday to Friday 09:00-17:15 with 45 minute lunch. There is an expectation that overtime will be undertaken when workload demands but this is not frequent.
* The engineers work from a site but will be expected to travel to other local DC's to cover equipment. The candidate must supply their own transportation, for this a mileage allowance will be paid.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience of supporting Printers, Servers and Blades manufactured by the company.
* Excellent customer facing skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing is essential
* Good organisational skills are essential in this position
* Able to work on their own initiative
* Ability to work under pressure to meet SLA's and remain calm in stressful situations
* Willingness to be flexible regard work place and hours
* Desirable experience of Service Now service desk system
