Following completion of a Comprehensive Training Programme you will be Responsible for the drafting of IVA proposals and statements of affairs, liaising with clients and creditors and other parties where necessary in order to obtain all the information required.

You will be responsible for:

Liaising with clients & Creditors
Gather a variety of information from the client and their creditors via the telephone and by written correspondence, in order to produce an IVA proposal
Liaising with other professionals
Obtain missing information/documentation
Completion of Drafter Workbook on each file
Collate information and prepare concise and accurate draft legal documentation, which details the clients financial situation, explains the reasons for the circumstances and offers a considered solution to their debt problem
Complete money laundering checks
Be aware of current Insolvency legislation
Attend training workshops and courses as required
Regular liaison and correspondence with the client and their creditors prior to the creditors' meeting (including making necessary amendments to the draft documentation)
Monitoring return of signed documentation from client and creditors' meetings
Prompt transfer of 'dead' files to Debt Management Sales
Awareness of alternative debt solutions
Ongoing liaison with the Insolvency Practitioner regarding case reviews
Maintenance of case records and relevant systems (DIVA/Case Trackers)
Maintenance of file in accordance with case filing index
Ad hoc duties and projects as required
Completion of amendments as directed by the Insolvency Practitioner/Reviewer
Comply with the Data Protection Act at all times ensuring our clients data remains safe

Your Key Skills:

Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Excellent telephone handling skills
Excellent letter writing skills
Excellent organisational and administration skills
Strong time management skills
Used to working to targets in a pressured environment
Ability to work well as an individual and as a member of a team
Knowledge of the debt management industry preferred
Knowledge of current Insolvency legislation preferred
An excellent timekeeper with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of our customers
