Semi Skilled mechanic

Job Summary
Our welding manufacturing Client is looking for a semi-skilled mechanic for an on ongoing 3 month temp to permanent contract with in the East London area.

The job role
The job is to help around the site fixing minor mechanical issues that happen on site of a welding company that build large metal containers for example skips. There is no expectation on making any of these containers yourself however a watchful eye on procedures and an inclination to help others will make sure you go from temp to perm.

The skills
You must be health and safety aware, conscious as the company in question are heavy duty welding so the environment may not be the cleanest but it is always safe.
Communication is a must for this role as for the most part you will be working independently from the other workers so you must relay what you are doing and what precautions must be taken when work is in their space.

You will be comfortable with basic and power tools and have a vigilant eye on continuous improvements in how to improve the standards of the workshop.

Contract positions (Umbrella or Limited), starting ASAP
Rate: £10-10.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours guaranteed Days (Monday - Friday)
Location, commutable from: East London
