An exciting opportunity has become available due to new contracts & Client wins to provide on-site support direct customer on their premises through the following:
This is a demanding role with a requirement to hit the ground running on the Client site using registered machinery to:
oDispense ink in line with the daily production plan(s)
oMove product to & from machine(s) if applicable
oBook back press returns into the dispense management system
oPlace press returns in clearly marked locations
oRe-work press returns where possible
oCluster press returns into common running colours
oPlace a weekly material order using the order form provided
oFile all delivery notes for month end consignment stock count
oBook new deliveries into the dispense management system
oReplenish material stocks on dispense management system
oArrange uplift of any empty containers or waste ink, ensuring containers are safely palletised and lids are secured.
Support ink blender and ink production through the following:
oObserve all Customer & Employer H&S rules and polices
oEnsure ink area complies with customers hygiene accreditation
oMaintain dispensing equipment & working area with good housekeeping techniques
You will provide on-site technical support to customer through the following:
oAttending daily production & any 'pre-flight' meetings
oSupporting press trials &/or customer trials
oProvide customer with colour matchings (hand drawn-downs & digital) within the agreed time frame
oUpdate & maintain digital colour database & recipes within the dispense management system
oUpdate & maintain X-rite (iQC) with existing & new colour standards
oSupport on-site colour corrections & basic trouble shooting on press
oSupport on-site training to the Ink blender
Support ink management and ink production through the following:
oProduce monthly KPI report based on customers consumption data
oMaintain colour measurement equipment (Green tile or Netprofiler)
oCapture any 'NCR' issues & action accordingly
You will a already have a background, skills & experience
*with a good colour vision & an eye for detail
*2 years' experience of working in an Ink or print based environment
*excellent communication skills and be capable of performing their daily duties without direct supervision
*used to working under pressure and demonstrate value activity to the customer
*Your IT skills are essential as are good problem solving skills
*You are methodical and tidy in their work
*Must hold a full driving license
