I am recruiting for two Supervisors to join an exciting new restaurant opening at the new Westgate Shopping Centre in Oxford City Centre. The Supervisors are responsible with the Management team for ensuring the restaurant is operated to drive sales through outstanding customer service, maximising profitability whilst ensuring that all legal and company standards and policies are consistently met and team members are trained and developed enabling them to meet expectations in all areas of their job role.

PEOPLE
*To support all team members to develop them to achieve their potential by effective scheduling during training with a trainer and execution of regular training, coaching and performance feedback sessions as per the prescribed training policies, procedures, standards and training workbooks.
*To maximise and maintain staff retention by engaging with management and team members alike in an open, friendly and approachable manner.
*To create a motivational environment to drive positive team spirit through regular team meetings, weekly management meetings, daily team briefings and regular 121's.
*To manage performance, absenteeism, conduct and performance according to company standards, policies and procedures.

GUEST EXPERIENCE
*To liaise daily with the Head Chef or kitchen senior on duty to ensure the appropriate quantity and quality of food is produced as per specifications.
*To ensure the appearance of the restaurant is immaculate both inside and outside at all times
*To ensure that all team members and management alike are fully aware and knowledgeable of all forthcoming events, promotions, marketing activity and menus.
*To create an inviting environment, style and atmosphere to ensure it is conducive to the guests perfect dining experience
*To resolve all guest queries, complaints or other irregularities implementing the 6 R's complaint handling procedure as and when necessary and appropriate and in a timely manner

Operations
*Order stock ensuring the right par levels, minimising unwanted waste and ensuring full availability of our products at all times
*To be responsible for all administration of the payroll according to company policy.
*To take responsibility by supporting the General Manager in controlling the Profit & Loss accounts, WTR and all financial accounting, identifying and resolving any issues on a timely basis
*To drive and build sales by promoting guest satisfaction through design and implementation of company and local marketing and sales initiatives
*To take on the role and accountabilities as and when required during the absence of the General Manager
