HGV CLASS 1 DRIVERS REQUIRED

Manpower is urgently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for Royal Mail based in Newtownabbey. You will collect and deliver customers mail safely, securely, punctually and in good condition along with providing clear and timely proof of delivery information. You will be responsible for daily vehicle checks and defect reporting. Complete relevant paperwork as required. Consistently exceed customer expectations and operational standards for delivered on time performance whilst maintaining a zero tolerance to loss and damage. This particular site is 24/7 therefore the shift's start throughout the day, night and over the weekend so a certain level of flexibility is required. These positions are available for immediate start, following a successful driving assessment and Manpower interview.

Driver's must be able to pass two assessment's, a theory test about driving and tachograph and a practical driving assessment on site. Candidates must have a full UK licence, have full CPC training and a digital tachograph card. Max 6 points, no DD or DR endorsements. An excellent geographical knowledge is required. Shifts can be on an ad-hoc basis
