Transport and Goods Out Supervisor
An opportunity has arisen for a competent Supervisor to become an integral part of our distribution team. Prior experience in a similar role is highly favourable as you will be responsible for daily operations from the get go.
This is certainly a role for someone who likes to keep busy and enjoys a fast paced environment. If you thrive on job satisfaction, have excellent time management skills and are a great communicator, this could be the next step in your career.
You will be responsible for;
*Checking load weights
*Supervising the loading of vehicles
*Coordinating drops to allow for time efficient deliveries
*Ensuring all staff are exhibiting safe and efficient working practices.
*Regularly downloading and checking tachograph records
*Informing the sales department of all undelivered and returned goods. Ensuring all returned goods are received by the Goods In department with all relevant paperwork
*Supervising all planned and unplanned vehicle maintenance, including PMI's, MOT's and scheduled servicing.
*Accurately communicating with drivers and loaders during regular briefings
*Licence checks for all agency staff
A Class 2 licence would be advantageous although not a necessity.
