Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative, your main responsibilities will include:

*Item picking - Using a wrist mounted scanner, you'll map through multiple floors of mezzanine where all merchandise is stored. Items picked will then need to be logged and taken to the parking area.

*Item packing - After items are logged, you'll carry out pre-shift checks, such as checking it is packaged correctly with right size box. You'll then locate items that match customer orders, scan the items, and place them onto belt ready for dispatch.

*Dispatch - You'll work between four belts and airmail, ensuring all packages are correctly sealed and labelled, before placing them onto the correct pallet ready for dispatch.

Ideally, you'll have previous warehouse and manual handling experience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You'll also be a self-motivated team player, with great communication skills.


Shift Pattern:

Rotating between 06.00 -14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00
(Overtime will be available)


Hourly rate - £7.50 per hour

Start dates will be from week commencing 23rd October 2017 ongoing in to 2018
