An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Advisor to join our client in their Emergency Team based at their Head Office in Syston, Leicestershire. You will work in a small and friendly team of Customer Service Advisors, helping to ensure that calls made to the Emergency line are answered and dealt with in a timely manner.
This role operates on a 4 on, 4 off 12 hour shift pattern starting between 06:00 & 08:00.
Week 1 - 06:00-18:00
Week 2 - 07:00-19:00
Week 3 - 08:00-20:00

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

*Answering calls on a helpdesk for customers reporting problems with their gas supply
*Log details of all calls accurately on to system
*Troubleshooting / diagnosing equipment faults & guiding through basic equipment resets
*Prioritising workloads to ensure effective response times while working within SLA's
*Dispatching engineers within SLA's
*Administration and data entry
*Dealing with a high volume of inbound calls particularly in peak winter months


Skills, experience and personal attributes

*Excellent communication skills - clear and concise
*Good at building instant rapport
*Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills
*Attention to detail and accuracy
*Previous customer service experience
*Excellent listening skills
*Experience in the dispatch of engineers is desirable
*Patient approach, staying calm under pressure or as workload increases
*Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office packages

The position offers you in return a salary of £18,000, free on site parking, 20 days holiday plus statutory.
