CNC Operator

Our client who offer a full range of turn-key manufacturing services for the Oil & Gas, Defence, Power Generation and Subsea sectors are looking for CNC Operators to join their team.


Key Duties:
*Set and programme CNC Machines
*Capability to perform simultaneous multi-axis machining in one operation
*Ability to operate multiple CNC machines across the business area
*Support, training and mentoring of operators
*Ensure that health and safety standards are adhered to and maintained
*Document actions through completion of production and quality logs

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Recognised training programme or equivalent qualifications + 5 years machining experience in a subcontract manufacturing environment.
Strong communicator
Strict adherence to health and safety requirements
Potential for small group leadership.
Commitment to Continuous Improvement.
Proven Problem Solver
Autonomous.
Self-discipline for PPE / House Keeping / Safe Working Practice
Team Player
Commitment to development of apprentices
