Software Developer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to join our Client based in Newcastle. You will be responsible for utilising your advanced skills to maintain a range of databases, ensuring high levels of availability and data quality.

This is a varied role and duties/responsibilities will include:
* Maintain, develop and administer tools using MS Access and Excel
* Maintain and deploy data structures, forms, reports and queries
* Develop, implement and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases
* Interrogate and validate technical data using a variety of technical sources in readiness for input into migration documents and the schedule of work

The successful candidate will be an expert working with VBA code for MS applications, advanced MS Access skills and have hands on experience with data feeds, data reconciliations and databases.

Due to the business needs of this role the successful candidate must have existing security clearance or be able to attain security clearance. If applicants do not currently have security clearance they must have photographic ID in the form of a passport or driving license, that is in date and reflects the applicants current address. Proof of address would also be required in the form of 2 bills dated within the last 3 months.
